Position Title: Assistant Resident Service Director
Reports To: Community Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide an uncompromised style of living for each resident. The primary focus will be to assist in the retention of the resident through skilled, efficient and professional service.
Position Responsibilities
- Respond to resident/management requests, work orders, and make-ready projects.
- Prompt and efficient service calls in accordance with the company instruction.
- Being on-call as determined by Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Turn vacant units in three to five business days or as outlined by Supervisor.
- Strong electrical and plumbing skills.
- Perform light carpentry and masonry work.
- Take a leadership role in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the property.
Position Qualifications
- Individual must be AC qualified and able to read wiring diagrams
- High level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations (I.E. pool maintenance, appliances, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Capable of performing sustained manual labor
- May require overtime, holiday, and weekend work
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance and/or mechanic repair required or an equivalent combination of experience & education
- HVAC experience required
- Valid Driver’s license required
